TV Legend Art Linkletter Dies at Age 97
Another bastion of my youth passes.
Art Linkletter was probably one of the first television personalities I remember watching as a child. I remember watching him with my mom on an old black-and-white television set in the laundry room in our old house in Sinking Valley. I remember seeing him interviewing children; he was famous for his segment "Kids Say the Darnedest Things."
He had a pretty accomplished life, and dealt with some tragedies with his own kids as well. R.I.P.
