The best gift ever

Post by felix'apprentice »

Over the weekend - a friend of mine gave me this for my birthday

Image

Its the Fender 50's Road Worn Strat. I've been lookin at this guitar for a while now - wanting one. Little did i know, someone would buy it for me for my birthday (which isnt for another month).

This thing plays beautifully. It has a great action, and the sound of the pickups is amazing. I used to like my other strats sound ... til now! ha. The neck is super comfy. its just the perfect guitar for me. in my opinion.

just wanted to share my excitement! anyone else have one of these or played one? opinions eh? i love mine. :D

oh ya ... and cant wait to rip it up with this at the blues jam!!!!

Nice guitar. I just don't understand the road worn concept. Kinda like buying jeans with holes already in them. I guess it's a blues thing. This is what I just got. It was kind of a gift cause my wife didn't cut my nards off or anything.

thanks. i dont know if i will change anything on it. as for now, its perfect. i've wanted this guitar since it came out. i can't believe its mine.

good friend to say the least. we got it in ohio - the sales man even gave my friend almost a hundred dollar discount cause it was for a friend. how cool is that? plus i got to pick out misc accessories. :D

still stoked. i played it for nearly two hours straight tuesday night and a solid 90 minutes last night. i can't put it down.

I'm not the friend in reference... But I have to say that friends like that are quite amazing, and being that friend is just as much so. I've done that a couple times for friends, and am certainly happy to see the way my friends' faces light up when I do something great for em :D
