Listen to cd's that I have blasted with a new outlook ...

Post by f.sciarrillo »

I am listening to Metallica's ...and justice for all cd (I think I am losing it). I am doing this because I want to see what it is that I really do not like about it. So far I haven't found anything. It is a pretty good cd both musically and lyrics wise. I think a lot of my loathing for metallica came from being a Megadeth fan. That is one of those ford/chevy type things. To me Megadeth was a chevy.

Next I am going to listen to stairway to heaven - Maybe not, with that song it isn't a hate, it is a disgusted with.

anyway, has anyone else found a new light in a cd that hated, and now like?

Joe Satriani's self - titled album. When it came out I ran & bought it, listened to it, puked in my mouth, and traded it in. It wasn't the usual guitar heroics he was know for up to that point, and my mind wasn't that broadened yet.
Since learning to appreciate lots more music, I bought it again (used) to complete my collection and give it the ol' college try.
I heard much more in it the second time around, and it stays in regular rotation now.
