I mentioned in the thread about drummers, the name Jeff Hamilton. I love his playing a lot! But recently (with some inspiration from Tim, our keyboard player) I've been studying Jeff more intently on YouTube.

On a side note, this video, as good as it is, is not a good representation of the total works that come from Jeff Hamilton. As I stated in the latest drum thread, Jeff seems to have thought out, and placed each and every note in it's perfect place. But what makes him great is that he always sounds fresh and somehow unrehearsed. Like a great actor who merely repeats someone else's scripted words, yet makes it sound like it's the first time he'd ever said them.
