I was shocked to hear it, so I looked around.....
It has since been exposed as a hoax. He was at a memorial day parade in DC after the supposed "death". There have been NO confirmed sources that he has died. I cant find one source saying he is dead now. They all just say it was a hoax.

I did some surfing and it is indeed a hoax.

Besides, the Gunny can't die. Death fears R. Lee Ermey. Even Chuck Norris fears the gunny.
