Wow! I grew up watching the NBA (Michael Jordan era), and I really enjoyed watching him play... even though he was basically a telephone pole on the court, and his team had to play 4-on-5 offense with him on the court (unless he was chucking threes and got on a hot streak... how he was ever able to do that I have no idea). He was definitely a joy to watch on the court, and also a great man.
Anyone remember watching him box William "The Refrigerator" Perry? I thought that was god awful until I heard he had his pay donated to charity. That made it at least watchable.
