If Your IEM Earbuds Suck...Try These for $6

This is about as cheap as I've seen them. After testing several brands and models, this is what I picked for our IEM system. These are not canal type, but they will give the Shure E-series a run for the money.

Did you put together your own system? If so, what stuff did you use? I'm really interested in this.

I am presently using a Rolls VHF system. It has a lot less hiss than other low cost systems have...hiss can give you a headache after awhile. The Rolls is discontinued, but once in awhile they show up on eBay cheap. Combined with the Sennheiser earbuds, it sounds pretty good.

Except for Shure systems, the earbuds that come stock with most systems (including Rolls) really suck, so I tested a bunch of them and picked these.

What's the model number on that system? I'll start looking for one.

Rolls WPM61 Wireless Monitor System

Make sure you get the factory wall wart for the transmitter because its bass-ackwards from standard AC adapters.
