And so the push starts. Anyone else think they are going to try and get Palin as the candidate ? That is even if it passes ...

We all know when the "tea party" mentions the constitution, it is code for racism.

According to NAACP it is. You know, the same group who doesn't want persecution brought on the black panthers for racism, but wants persecution brought on the tea-party for racism. And the thing that is hilarious is that there is no proof that there was any racism done with the tea-party. There is a 100,000.00 reward for anyone who can prove racism done by the tea-party

I, for one, welcome the Tea Party's legitimization and the rise in the quality of political discourse and cultural awesomeness that such authenticity will bring. Industry (in China) will boom as the manufacturing sector increases to accomodate the production of mini Gadsen flags, while out of work costume designers create Colonial-period clothes. Post-secondary education will reach a paradigm shift as law schools go insane conferring JDs to all of the self-professed experts in constitutional law, and the grading criteria for comp exams in poli sci grad programs will be based upon how belligerent a student's argument is. Art Bell will have to come out of retirement to accomodate all of the guests on Coast to Coast A.M. positing conspiracy theories that Obama was not only born outside of the U.S., but was actually concieved in a lab on a different planet. Reductio ad Hitlerum photochops will become high art that pretentious art dealers will buy and sell as if they were works by Dali or Monet.

It will be a capital time indeed, my friends.

Interesting viewpoint from someone who once proclaimed himself a libertarian. Why don't you use all that college education to start manufacturing Gadsen flags here in the US? You would probably make much more capital by manufacturing SEIU union purple tee shirts, you know the kind that union thugs who beat up libertarians wear. Did you make any of these posts when liberals where making Hitler posters of W?

It is not very capital when you so poorly stereotype a group of folks.

I'm involved in a new business startup, myself. We manufacture and market pre-misspelled protest signs. It's called Freadum Patroit Sines, LLC.
Our motto is,"Freadum Izzen't Frea... It's $12.95."
We don't pay taxes, because that's un-American, and beneath us.
We build the signs in Sierra Leone, using child labor, because the grown-ups are all dead, and the kids will work for 9 cents a day. (Great deal, huh? I LOVE capitalism!)
I'm the CEO, so I get 400 million a year, but hey, it took me all afternoon to think up the idea, so I'm worth it. I missed the whole first nine holes at the country club that day. Freadum requires sacrifice, you know.
The best part is, the signs sell like hotcakes, because Tea Partiers, obviously, will just buy any f**king thing, as long as you slap a talking-point phrase on it.
We've even started a non-profit! It's called the Liberty Core-value Constitution Foundation, and we sell "Whatever It Is, I'm Agin' It!" T-shirts, then give the money to teach teen mothers about abstinence.
Our next Tea Party product: pre-pooped diapers. --->JMS
