Vent + "KISS" Army= VENT RULES!!

Post by Banned »

Well, with all due respect....I enjoyed VENT more. Don't get me wrong, Kiss Army delivered the 98%(No Pyro) true to form Alive One show. Hand's down they are the best Kiss band I've ever seen. I worked for Cold Gin and truly they were GREAT....But man, don't go through the motions...live it, love it..or quit fuckin' doin' it.
Anyway, it was pretty much an outspoken show for Vent...these guy's deliver their music in such a passionate and diverse manner that I can't even fathom to be more than drunkard fun sent from the most HIGH....which was me or the singer...Dude's, you guy's Effin' ROCK!! JP please tell me you were there??? I want to get my band rolling just to work with these guy's.
Anyone else catch this gig? Input...please.

I wasn't there, but was down and around town all day. Looked like it was fun. I could hear some of the playing Vent did, and I have to say I liked it

Thanks for the kind words man. We had a blast doing it. Weren't really sure how we would go over in front of a bunch of KISS fans but the crowd was awesome. Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm a drummer...I just hang out with musicians.

No, I wasn't there...I attended the Woodshed Blues and Jazz Festival at Lincoln Caverns Amphitheater, an excellent time as well...

But I agree that Vent delivers the goods, and as I have said in previous reviews, they deserve to see more people at their shows here in the 'Toona...Perhaps the Railroaders Museum show will help them turn the corner...

Dang. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate that. Was a great time. You know how outdoor things are. Always like a workout more than a normal show but fun.

Our slot went from about an hour to almost three. Kept looking over and seeing "DO THREE MORE", then "FOUR MORE"...

Thanks to Brian, from FL19, for help with the in, and to the organizers and RR Museum for everything.

Also need to say how great the guys with Freelance Sound were. Great sound, very cool, and was a lot of fun to hang out with them.

Thanks again Skeeze, Nag, and JP. Means a lot.

That was one heck of a show. Was strange to be an opener and told to keep playing so many times.

Freelance is, by far, one of the most fun and laid back group of live audio engineers that know how to get stuff done. Just such a pleasure to work with.

Thanks for the kind words guys!
