Just out of dumb curiosity...vocalists...

I've been seeing a lot (in the Musicians/Bands Wanted/Available section) of people posting about needing vocalists that's not the screaming growling type...probably why I'm out of work...lol...but I was wondering how many vocalists here on rockpage can actually do it?

I don't know too many bands in that kind of genré locally.

Maybe I simply don't get out that much, but I have to assume that there's a lot of people who are like me in the growling, screaming specialist area in metal or all these people wouldn't simply make that unnervingly well known in their wanted ads.

I'm not really a vocalist (though I'd like to do some kinda vocals at some point), but I can scream and growl a little. I used to be better at it, til I had bronchitis a couple years ago. But I know of several vocalists that are mostly strictly growl and scream styled

When I was still "singing" we were still doing the 80's stuff...but now that I don't sing as much because I concentrate on guitar...I'd like to hear MORE Metal vocals that can actually scream, growl with the guitar. It helps to have a melodic voice to go with the ANIMAL VOICE too. IMO
