Post by felix'apprentice »

Lookin for a Dimarzio Humbucker - Something like the DP100 Super Distortion. Its goin into a strat - so keep that in mind. Needs to be a bridge position. Thanks!

Is your guitar routed for a double-wide PAF-sized bridge pickup or a single-coil strat-sized pickup?

If its set up for a single-coil sized pickup, I have that pickup we talked about that's somewhere between a Dimarzio Chopper and Pro Track that will work perfectly in a Strat bridge position for $15.

It looks like your guitar is routed to fit a double-coil pickup.

What about your pickguard? are all 3 pickup holes the same size?

The pickup I have will fit right into your pickguard. Its a hot humbucker for the bridge position like you want. I don't have any guitars that it will fit in the bridge position. I tried it in the middle position on my boat paddle and it was too hot for that. Its mint. $15 and its yours.

Humbucker doesn't describe the size of a pickup...it describes a dual-coil design. They make them in both sizes.
