I'll take 3-1 without Ben. The rematch will be a different story.

I gotta admit, that was a close game! I went into work today thinking the Ravens lost it. When I was looking over the score on break, I couldn't believe my eyes, and had a guy with more full web capabilities go online and find out what happened! At this point, I'm a pretty happy Ravens fan! I think I'm gonna wear my Ravens leather jacket tomorrow, since I'm off! :D

I wonder how close the game would have been if Baltimore had their 4th string QB playing, and Pittsburgh had their 1st string QB. I think Ben would have done more with those two turnovers near the red zone, at least getting the two missed field goals to a makeable distance. Still, it was a good clutch performance by Flacco.

Pittsburgh would have had their 1st string quarterback in if he was mature and responsible enough to stay out of trouble. :) :)

Probably the same, if the Steelers had their first string QB, and the Ravens had all their fullest depth too. Before game day, the Ravens had a total of 12 injuries, several of which were to receivers and RBs, including Mason and the long-term injury of Stallworth, and with probable starts by Rice, McGehee and Heap. Yeah, several "who knows" players on the injury list did play the game

The Steelers didn't have "Big Ben". So? The Ravens were only using a half-loaded gun too

I was mad at the defense for letting the Crows go right down field on them like nothing at all in the end....it looked like they gave up.

All of those players put together don't have half the impact that Ben does. The Ravens still had three great receivers to throw to and their franchise QB. There are only so many balls to go around. As I said before, it was nonetheless a great clutch performance by Flacco against a full strength Steelers defense. We'll see what happens next time.

Unfotunately, there will be several losses to come. They're just not very good on offense. And I say that as a PSU fan and alumnus.

Yes, he may make an impact in passing. Batch, however, is quite experienced, and really did as good a job as a team can do against that Ravens defense. So to say that Ben would've made a difference... Well, yeah. So would the Ravens' best runners all being healthy, and even more depth in an already-powerful receiving corps. And the couple extra defensive powerhouses wouldn't've disrupted that either
