I knew about this years ago. A few years ago, a company I worked for had a job at the Army Research Laboratory in MD. Thats the place that researches and develops most of the military's weapons and armor. The Army's Proving ground is located there also. It was BADASS!!! The place obviously had machine gun armed guards and we couldnt even go to the bathroom without our military assigned escort. Anyway, we were there for months and got to know the scientists that we were installing the machine for pretty well. One scientist there took us on a tour of the place, well...in the areas that he could. There were alot of doors we werent allowed to go through. Since we were there for months, alot of conversations happened. We heard bit about some of the new things they were working on. It was pretty fascinating. Its good to see some of it coming out!! There's gonna be some more neat stuff coming out soon!

For anyone curious about wtf the company i worked for did, and why we would be at such a high security military base, its because the company designed, manufactured, and installed these:
