Interesting indeed. I do have a bit of a bitch about his comment of satellite radio lacking quality and depth. I've never enjoyed music more since getting satellite radio. I drive a coal truck so I'm killing 12 hours a day driving and I can tell you listening to the same songs on whatever rock station I can pull in day after day wears on you. In fact, WDVE (claimed to be the best rock station in western PA) has thoroughly destroyed my love of classic rock. And being able to travel from PA to Nashville and still listen to whatever I want without having to turn the dial every 40 miles or so is sheer bliss. Not to mention no commercials...the average FM station plays approx. 22 minutes of commercials an hour...I'll fill that gap with music, thank you very much.
Granted, each channel has its genre and like regular radio does repeat itself but at least there is 5 times the variety that regular radio offers. I assign days to certain channels and after Howard Stern is over I go to that channel. One day...Hair Nation. Next, Lithium....etc. And every so often I pick something a little outside the box just for some "culture."
I don't know what the heck this guy is looking for or expecting. The 50's, 60's, or whatever only had so many songs. Sure, you COULD play each and every song the Beach Boys ever made but not every song they wrote was that great. Them, or anyone else.
Sorry, I got on a soapbox there. I just love my Sirius that much.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!
