Yeah his dad is big into jazz. He had a couple of TV specials with jazz musicians honering his (Clint's) use of jazz in some of his movies. I saw his son play on one of the shows, he's very good.

Clint Eastwood produced and directed a film called Bird, a biographical tribute to jazz great Charlie "Bird" Parker starring Forrest Whitaker. Clint Eastwood is also an accomplished musician and songwriter himself and has written songs for some of his movies.
