Here are the top beaters:

Ringo Starr - $300 million
Phil Collins - $250 million
Dave Grohl - $225 million
Don Henley - $200 million
Lars Ulrich - $175 million
Charlie Watts - $90 million
Roger Taylor - $90 million
Joey Kramer - $90 million
Chad Smith - $90 million

Not too many surprises there, although I wouldn't have expected Dave Grohl to be worth more than Don Henley. Presumably Roger Taylor is the one from Queen, not the one from Duran Duran. Curiously absent: Larry Mullen, Jr.

Neal Peart's drum kit is probably worth as much as some of these guys. :D
Back in black, I need a snack...

Dave Grohl on the list is interesting in that a huge bulk of his fortune came from being a guitarist, singer, songwriter with Foo Fighters even though he played drums with Nirvana, Them Crooked Vultures, and other acts.

That much? I would have thought more like a buck $2.98.

With people like Neal Peart, Nick Mason, etc. I find it very hard to believe that Dave Grohl can be worth that much? Rush and Pink Floyd sold ten times more albums than the Foo Fighter and Nirvana combined.

Grohl has to have his money in investments or other things.

I sure hope Ringo sent Pete Best a thank you card.
