Didnt this guy suck enough with linkin park?? What a shame. I saw something about this, and hoped it was a joke. Doesnt seem like a good fit at alllllll. his vocals dont fit the music. Just my opinion.

STP isnt the same without that junkie mr weiland singing.

I'll be honest. I don't hate it. Never was a big Linkin Park fan, but I've always been a huge STP fan. Chester does nail the Weiland vibe while still being himself. Plus, he always seemed like a pretty clean cat, which should bode well for the band not imploding from self-destruction.

Just bustin' your stones a little.

Time will tell about this line-up.

I'm not sure which is worse, an established band getting a new singer, keeping the name and people being disappointed that it's not the singer they liked or picking a new name and being criticized for trying to reinvent themselves. See: Journey/Judas Priest and Talk Show/Alter Bridge. Just sayin'.

Don't mind it at all. Downloaded it and have listened a few times and like it more each.

Love STP and was hoping they'd (Weiland, any way) keep it together. Really liked the last album.

Not huge on LinkinPark, but this guy seems to have a lot of cache from a lot of people. Have heard him sing some stuff with Camp Freddy and other's, and he can sing/front.

If the other guys want to go on and Weiland can't, more power to them.

IMO Chester Bennington can wail. Hes got great range and is spot on weather recorded or live. Not a huge linkin park fan but I do know this guy can sing his ass off. Not sure what you were getting at here or if its just the fact that you hate Linkin Park but when it comes to vocals Im not sure that you would be the best critic!

After listening to it a bit, I'll give it a "good enough". As long as STP keeps kicking songs out like they used to, I can say that even with the different vocal styles (Chester's voice is a lot more treble, a little younger-sounding), this could be an interesting choice of vocalist... Although, it would've been more interesting to see if Bennington would've gone for a heavier band. He's got the sound for it. I listened a bit to some of the old STP work with him on vocals, and really, he matches well to what Weiland did. Of course, I'd still like to see Weiland clean up and find something else to get into, maybe even do split-vocal work (which would really be exciting!) with Bennington in the new STP. But, I have to say that I like how it's currently going anyway. Definitely a strong, capable vocalist, although a little different in typical style

I like the song, but think it would sound better if Scott was singing it. Chester doesn't do too bad with it though.

I have always been a huge stp fan. So I defiently have to check this out. Chester is an amazing singer. Like most of you I've never been much of a Linkin Park fan. It's just ashame that weiland cant hold himself together.
