I saw that you tube pulled down all those hitler xbox posts. There was one where hitler modified his xbox and got banned from xbox live.

I'm definitely not buying the first gen of them, maybe not even the second gen. After that, who knows, but I'm definitely waiting to see their total responses to the PR nightmare that Microsoft designed. I know they're already squashing some of those ideas, but I wanna see what they do with the rest

PC for me. Never got into the consoles, and my current rig is still better than the next-gen consoles coming out. It wasn't a lot of money, and i upgrade pieces a little at a time so i'm not laying out a ton of money all at once.
What's everyone playing right now? I've recently run through Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider. Looking forward to Saints Row 4 and the new Splinter Cell game in August.

Research, my friend...common knowledge that Sony destroyed Microsoft at E3.RobTheDrummer wrote:I disagree with your assessment.ToonaRockGuy wrote:XBox 1 = MASSIVE Fail. You wasted your money.

Actually, I followed the entire thing. They didn't destroy anything, they announced a price, along with the Digital Rights Management stuff. That's the only place where they beat Xbox One. So the Xbox is $100 more, but it comes with Kinect, Sony doesn't have a peripheral, you have to buy it separate. As far as games go, Xbox had a better showing. If you look at the "best in show" lists from all of the gaming websites, Titanfall was the best game there. The best Sony Exclusive was "Infamous: Second Son" which I had both Infamous games, and they are OK at best. PS4 press conference was garbage until the price announcement, Assassins Creed kept freezing up, a tech demo(which sony always does) and announcement of movies and music (that sony fanboys have been smashing about the xbox saying it's an entertainment system, not a gamers system) Seriously tho, I'll be getting both consoles.ToonaRockGuy wrote:Research, my friend...common knowledge that Sony destroyed Microsoft at E3.RobTheDrummer wrote:I disagree with your assessment.ToonaRockGuy wrote:XBox 1 = MASSIVE Fail. Biggest Sony win.
Seriously, Microsoft did most of their stuff in the console design wrong. 24 hour authentcation, Kinect requires always online (hackers' dream, reality tv, anyone?) no lending of disc games, they just haven't learned from their missteps.
EDIT: Literally as I was posting this, Microsoft did a 180 on disc-based game lending. Link is on the TechRadar story above.

Ok, so if you're too cheap to buy new games, and too poor to have internet, you probably shouldn't own a gaming system.ToonaRockGuy wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWSIFh8ICaARobTheDrummer wrote:Actually, I followed the entire thing. Really, you don't know what's better until both systems come out. Xbox always had better online, and has more servers for their "cloud computing." That's why it's online all the time, so the developers can tweak and add updates any time. I think online all the time is a good idea actually.
