The Portage Area Summerfest, Inc. committee is pleased to announce the festival for the 32nd year on August 9th through 11th at the Crichton McCormick Park in Portage, PA. The event is three full days of music, food, craft, and business vendors, basket raffle, parade, kid’s area, inflatable rides, bingo, car and truck cruises, Portage Foundation $10,000 drawing, fireworks presented by the Portage Volunteer Fire Company Saturday, Portage Rotary Club all you can eat breakfast Sunday, and many more fun activities for the entire family.
The Portage Area Summerfest is one of the premier festivals in the region and the committee is dedicated to bringing the event back every year to the size and quality people have come to know and expect. The Summerfest is the pride of the Portage area and welcomes many thousands of attendees from across Pennsylvania and many states to the event each year. Proceeds benefit Crichton McCormick Park and Portage Area Joint Recreation Commission.
This year’s Summerfest will feature a variety of musical acts on two stages including:
Friday – Beatlemania Magic – A Tribute To The Beatles – Clay Bowser
Saturday – Undercover – Inside Out – Hells Bells (AC/DC Tribute Band) – Bo & Tucker Moore – Frequency
Sunday – Ole 97 (Johnny Cash & June Carter Tribute Band) - Three Of Hearts – Pendulum (Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute Band) - UB the DJ – Manic Mango – Russell Wilburn.
A Tuner Cars, Trucks, & Motorcycle Show will be on Saturday and an Antique and Classic Car Cruise on Sunday.
Free Admission. No pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park during the festival. We ask people to bring lawn chairs as seating is limited.
