- I first registered rockpage.com in '95.
- Yes Tood and a few others were given rockpage email addresses in '95. I only got 5 at that time. I'm not sure if you got one Bobby, but I think you did.
- I knew very few people that used the internet at that time, but it was growing like mad.
- There wasn't any registration required for the site, so I have no idea who the first visitors were.
- In 1999, near the height of the internet boom, my unscrupulous, Florida based web hosting provider stopped billing me and answering their phones. They were listed as all of the contacts for the rockpage.com domain name (I didn't know any better and trusted them).
- They sold it for $25,000.00.
- The company they sold it to went under after a few months and sold it again for $5000.00. Now it's a Korean junk portal.
- I then registered rockpage.net and rockpage.org, determined to keep going after such a kick in the teeth.
- It's all been good from there.
