America: to busy pointing out the un-important faults of our leaders to take notice in the real issues. very fitting, in my opinion.
I agree with the above quote by slackin@dabass AND I like Obama so far AND noone is perfect, but I must admit; major flub yesterday on, I believe the Today show. There he is looking at a cover of People magazine with the show host, she says regarding the cover of Michelle and the 2 girls, well how do you feel about being ommitted from this photograph and he says something like yea, its just them and Jessica Simpson (in a little box on the side) who apparently has weight issues. WHAT ???? I couldn't believe he said that!

I don't know... I don't find that offensive at all. I don't see a problem with her weight, but apparently the type of people who read People do, or they wouldn't have put it on the cover.
Plus, what the hell kind of fluff question is, "How do you feel about not being in the picture?" to ask the President? Jeez Louise. I've never been on a magazine cover, and somehow, it doesn't bother me.
The Today Show used to be good, in the 70's. They had news on then. Now it's on a par with Entertainment Tonite.--->JMS
I think the issue lies in he shouldnt speak about something so stupid when people are starving and dying in this country. pop news should be last on his list.
well I agree with all of those comments, but women are a lot more sensitive about their weight (right or wrong) than guys and I bet women on this board may agree with me in that, uh oh that comment didn't sound so good. What do ya think girls?

Does Randy get a chance to get any of this action?
You are really ragging on Michelle, not my cup of tea but far from ugly. I would be very interested in seeing a pic of your ole lady to demonstrate your high standards.
Isn't it weird how women's tastes seem to be getting skinnier, and men are tending more towards more substantial women? I thought it was just me... when I was 23, I liked the petite bitchy type, mall-bangs and too much makeup. Now, I'm all about chubby girls with laid-back attitudes. It's all about curves and a good smile to me.
Of course, I still like mall-bangs, so maybe you shouldn't listen to me. --->JMS
