Just like someone who drinks alcohol for flavor who is at an unfamiliar bar.

Yes, I know hop-heads who drink beer mainly for flavor. I also know just as many pot-heads who would rather get maui-wowie than schwag, based solely on flavor. Ignoring the fact that enough of both gives you a buzz is just naive.
Now I would assume that when its legalized, it will be a bit cheaper. Probably make cigarettes more expensive though...
If it were legal, I'd just grow my own. Not as complicated or finicky as tobacco.

No matter what happens, it will still be a "controlled substance" like alcohol or prescription drugs and won't be treated anything like cigarettes.
Anyone busted for illegally selling a controlled substance will probably still get jail time--ask all those busted oxy dealers. I wouldn't expect any good weed from the government, so where ya gonna get it?
Probably from those people who sell crack & smack. Things wouldn't change much, except you'll end up with $50/pack ragweed at the local State Store.

Something else to realize... You can usually operate machinery with the glaze-eye look from weed (though I don't recommend it), but it's probably not worth trying after drinking
Any which way, there are many mistakes we can make as human beings that I can see sending someone off to a jail (the way they are now), getting your act straight, coming out and trying again. Do the crime, do the time, learn from your mistakes and live your life. Simple, effective. If every person who did something wrong figured this out, a lot of people in the system would be there once, and would be a fair-standing citizen from then on. We've all done something wrong, no one's perfect
But a lot of the hardened criminals have been in there on 5 or 6 different occasions, and are still sitting there, still laughing at the system, and still costing me money. If we got rid of half the hardcore douchebags rotting in our jails right now, how much do you think it would drop our tax costs? I heard the estimate is between $50K and $60K per year per inmate. I won't make that much over 3 years doing what I do now! Overcrowded prisons, economic issues? Let's nail two birds with one stone! Afterall... It's been proven time and time again over recent times that the man with the rights is the man who's doing wrong
And they will continue to build more prisons with our tax dollars. Wonder when Blair Co. will decide to follow Bedford and Cambria Counties example and build a new jail?
