I was going to say about each genre, but there are so many that it would be hard to decipher them all. I agree with a lot of what you are saying though ...

The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

I really have to check out a band that's more talented than the Beatles. The drug reference in the name alone has me in wide-eyed anticipation. --->JMS

Trust me John, their political veiws alone kept me at bay for a long time(big shocker  ),but a fellow i know kept pushing them on me,and i gotta admit they f'in rock hard! They can play loops around all that other SoCal punk trash.Vocal harmonies that make Bad Religion blush, wicked gitfiddle licks and tight as hell.Highly recomended from this music snob. Oh and they do write awsome tunes as well.

you are right for the most part...they do some good harmonizing...but they don't even come close to doing it like bad religion can.

Page- One of the best ever.
Plant- Freakish voice, started the "front man" persona that still exists today.
Jones- Possibly the most under-rated bassist ever. Also A great keyboard player.
Bonham- Brutal, pounding drums.

Metal, hard rock, blues, indy, they could do it all.
Hard to argue with that.
