yeah man. one of my favs. i didn't really like blackhawks over los angeles for some reason, but i heard a few of the songs off their new record and i liked those. it comes out on the 29th.

I was going to say about each genre, but there are so many that it would be hard to decipher them all. I agree with a lot of what you are saying though ...

Trust me John,their political veiws alone kept me at bay for a long time(big shocker ),but a fellow i know kept pushing them on me,and i gotta admit they f'in rock hard!They can play loops around all that other SoCal punk trash.Vocal harmonies that make Bad Religion blush,wicked gitfiddle licks and tight as hell.Highly recomended from this music snob. Oh and they do write awsome tunes as well.

you are right for the most part...they do some good harmonizing...but they don't even come close to doing it like bad religion can.

Ok maybe you're right on that point.Recipe for Hate is one of my favorite records,and i'm by no means a punk rocker.Got me there DaD.
Page- One of the best ever.
Plant- Freakish voice, started the "front man" persona that still exists today.
Jones- Possibly the most under-rated bassist ever. Also A great keyboard player.
Bonham- Brutal, pounding drums.
Metal, hard rock, blues, indy, they could do it all.
