You guys seem to be posting about her all the time, so YOU DO give a rat's ass. No one is making you watch her on TV or on Youtube. Who is the one who needs to get a life.
Joe, seriously, the number of posts about her is almost nothing. Especially compared to the number of posts you made bashing Obama and the Democratic party.
Palin has no power over anyone's wallet or life. The president does. There is quite the difference, you know I am right.

UndercoverJoe...dont put me in with "those guys" . Ive rarely ever posted anything political. Maybe one or 2 political comments since 2005.
I hate politics. Im not a democrat or republican. I want nothing to do with any of it. The country is going to go to hell regardless of who is in charge. Its so far gone from what the original US Govt was. Nothing and no one can fix it. The corruption is so deep, nothing will change. Why argue so much over something NONE OF US have control over?

Yeah, you're right about that, but that's all. People don't make fun of Palin cause of her involvment in politics but simply because of the stupid shit she's always muttering. Katie Couric, of all people, showed what a blithering idiot she is without even trying to. I'm done.

The local Tea-drinkers have been trying to distance themselves from her since the crib-notes incident, but the national conventioneers were chanting, "Run, Sarah, Run!" and they'll gladly hitch their wagons to her slow-wheeled cart. To try and turn a negative Palin thread into a negative Obama thread would be a coup, but it's not working.
Now the CPAC conference is underway, and the malcontents are chanting, "Run, Dick, Run!" for Dick Cheney! I think that'd be even better than a Palin campaign!! He could be the first presidential candidate brought up on war-crimes charges! He even shot a guy in the face. If Joe Biden can steal his lunch on a regular basis, think of what his vast group of political enemies could do. I grin widely at the thought. :D --->JMS

Imagine the outrage if Family Guy or South Park singled out one of the Obama children.

Wouldn't be near as much. The nature of the far-right is to dictate what is and isn't allowed, and to scream bloody-murder if somebody offends them. And somebody ALWAYS offends them. They're perpetually being persecuted, at least in their own minds. They are the Definers, only a wingnut can define what's right or wrong.
Imagine if Sarah Palin took unnecessary and unfounded potshots at Obama... oh, wait, she already does that, and it's considered patriotic.--->JMS

Oh, man. This is awesome. "Palin Opens Mouth, Inserts Foot. Again." The actor who played Down's Syndrome Girl actually has Down's Syndrome. What can Queen Quitter say? This interview needs to be national news TODAY. Maybe Caribou Barbie needs to stop looking at Down's Syndrome as a terrible affliction, and accept that it's just a condition. I never met anyone with Down's, child or adult, who wasn't the happiest person in the room. The Palins will NEVER be happy, because they'll never get what they want, which is power.--->JMS

My wife and I watched after a boy with Downs for many years. He's still one of the coolest people I ever met. His family moved to Hershey years ago and to this day if he knows he's coming to Bedford all he wants to do is go see Bill.

You, our local Koolaid drinker thinks that Biden can steal anyone's lunch????? Well he does steal taxpayers lunches all the time.

Cheney is evil, but come on, he has got more going on mentally than old lame Joe Biden. Biden has probably made 3 times more verbal gaffs that any VP, including Dan Quayle, but the media keeps it clammed up pretty well.

All experienced hunters know not to take a shot if someone is in the line of fire. Know your foreground AND your backstop, or DO NOT CARRY A WEAPON. Targets are never to blame, only shooters.

Well, it comes down to "Cheney is evil, but Biden is more evil." I owe Stevie Wonder a beer, because even HE saw that one coming. Okay then, I'll pretend Cheney never verbally put his foot in it, and let's compare them otherwise:
Has Biden ever started a war? Cheney wrote footnotes in his copy of the Sept. 12th 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing, asking how it could be pinned on Iraq, as Afghanistan did not have enough high-value targets.
Has Biden ever authorized torture not allowed by the Geneva Convention? Cheney admits authorization, but blames it on his lawyers, who were cleared yesterday.
Has Biden secured a multi-billion-dollar contract without the benefit of a bidding process, for the oil company he works for?
Has Cheney disclosed that his administration successfully tried 300 terrorists in civilian court (all of whom got life in a supermax prison)? I ask because he's criticizing the current admin for wanting to try terrorists in civilian court, that's all.
Perhaps most importantly, how many soldiers has Biden sent to their deaths in Iraq, an important question since we went there to get WMD's Saddam was going to use on us. You know, those WMD's never existed, no yellowcake uranium, no sarin gas, no anthrax, no suitcase nukes. In terms of sheer body-counts, Cheney's admin is the clear loser.
Once again, joe, you're drinking too much tea. I guess it's because you have all that extra time at lunch. :D

BTW, I happen to really like the lunch-stealing metaphor. Bullies stereotypically steal weaker kids' lunch, and it rules when they, in turn, get their lunches stolen. It's poetic.
However, from now on, I'll try to flex more writing chops and be more descriptive. How about these:

He kept your panties as a trophy.
He bare-backed you.
He used your toothbrush.
He intercepted you, and ran it back for a TD.
He forwarded your sext-message to your mom.
He wiped with your pillowcase.
He popped your point like a zit.
He Cheneyed your argument in the face.
He sugared your gas-tank.
He c*ck-blocked you in your own bath-house.
He "waxed on" when you were "waxing off."
He brought a bazooka to your knife-fight.
He pissed in your Tea.
He goobered your tramp-stamp.

... this is fun as hell! Give me some more ideas!--->JMS

john, you should post better than this drivel. I DID say Cheney was evil, and I did NOT say Biden was.

If you are going to post one of your usual LONG, BORING posts, at least start with what I posted, not one that you made up that I posted.

You keep posting like I was defending Cheney, john, I am a registered Libertarian. I will not vote for a Democrat or a Republican. Still wondering why you think I am defending a Republican, I was just laughing at the idea the Joe Biden has the mental capacity to actually eat, never mind steal a lunch.

Libertarian or Independent is the way to go these day's. Neither the Republicans or Democrats will do anything to make this country better.

By the way - Glenn Beck is speaking CPAC today. Who is going to watch it?

Beck at CPAP? Who would've thunk it!
Point well-taken, Joe, but maybe I educated a few other thread-viewers. I apologize for running with the Cheney thing. Of course, if you watched Biden on the Sunday shows last week, he really purloined Cheney's noontime sustenance. Cheney should really be keeping a low profile at this point, there's a back-room push to bring him up on charges..--->JMS

yeah he is going to tell the Repubs how bad of a job they are doing. Should be interesting. I bet they won't say anything about it on MSNBC - Wait, they probably will. I can hear it now. Gee ! I can't wait to see it ! The things they will say on MSNBC are going to be as follows: "Glenn Beck spoke at CPAC. One stupid person talking in a room full of stupid people. I do not know why they are stupid, only to say they are because they do not agree with me."

Hey, Ron Paul won the straw vote at that convention!!!!! Then apparently his named was booed when it was announced that he won. Shows that the old country club republican neo cons do not like Ron Paul. Good, they should not.

I still hope Ron runs as an independent or Libertarian in 2012. Then I will actually have some real hope for this country.

There is no such thing as a "good president" there are just some that are better then others.
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

If I were out hunting, I wouldn't walk in front of a loaded weapon. It was an accident, and Cheney did nothing wrong. I guess if Biden or Obama did the same, it would be Bush's fault.

Me neither, but if I were out hunting, I would know my shot BEFORE I took it. That's standard 12-year-old hunter-safety-course stuff. I hunted rabbits and pheasant exactly the same way you hunt quail or doves... standing in a spread-out line with other hunters. If a bunny breaks between you and the next guy in line, YOU DON'T SHOOT. It's just a freaking rabbit. I can't believe you're defending this... it must be part of the conservative attitude that if we do it, it's right; if they do it, it's wrong. Blaming Obama and Biden is just icing on my point.--->JMS

Once again, Joe:
I would ABSOLUTELY vote for Ron Paul EXCEPT for one giant detail: The (R) behind his name. If he would turn his back on the party that screws him constantly, especially in the current anti-encumbent political environment, he'd actually be a serious contender, and would shake American politics to it's very foundations. But so far, he hasn't had the courage to break away, instead depending on the establishment for the big bucks needed to wage a national campaign (which they deny him, based on his desire to end business-as-usual). Otherwise, it's a wasted vote, again.--->JMS
