If he would have left them fail we wouldn't be in a depression. With the auto industry, he wasn't helping the factory workers, he was giving a hand out to the unions who supported him ..

The white house even released last week that the deficit is up to 12 trillion. That is the democrats way - Spend more to put this country into bankruptcy so the whole USA can be relying on the government to pay their way. Why don't we all become one big socialist country. WE CAN BE THE USSA !!

Look at who this community organizer with his ways of ACORN, which still gets millions of our tax money - Of course they helped Obama as well. All I am waiting for now is the announcement of how much the Black Panthers were paid.

I know one thing for sure, the country will be divided as long as this kind of thing continues.. Funny thing about that is no one comments on it, they just keep pushing their own agenda.... Why do we have so much at stake in who is right and who is wrong?

I know that no one here has a credit card with a balance on it, I sure don't.

But a lot of Americans do. Our country sort of runs that way. It is what it is.

There was a deficit when Bush took office, I could not find what it was. He increased it (if you're right) by four Trillion. I believe it was around eleven Trillion (can't find exactly what it was) when Bush left office. Obama has added about 1.5 Trillion, but in that figure IS his war budget and bailouts.

I guess the ideas are just too diametrically opposed for me to buy into. On one hand "I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life." but on the other hand "I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results." That is opposed to what Jesus taught. Jesus said that it is harder for a rich man to gain entry to heaven ... well you know right?

Obviously anyone can see the potential for misuse. Water Gate would have never have happened if Nixon was president today. He would just listen in. How do you know Obama isn't listening to the conversations of Palin and Gingrich.

Like George Bush. Remember the "red alerts" and yellow alerts". You thought he knew something because of the Patriot Act. Turns out Bush's first home land security head, Former PA Republican governor, Tom Ridge said he QUIT his position as head of homeland security Bush would put out an alert everytime his numbers needed a boost before his second election.

Some people have denied it but Tom Ridge is a respected man with little to gain by making it up.

The Patriot Act was intended to protect regular hard working Americans from foreign nationals who would do us harm . I'm all for that, of course there are people who would miss use it. But do you really think those people in real power positions really need permission to tap your phone if they want to. So take the bad with the good and weigh out the benefits....
