RFTT?
Maybe i missed a post not sure but..... Whatever happened with all the footage etc.? Did it ever get finished and sent over? Any updates? Just curious.
I didn't do it! It was the other guy! I Swear to God!!
Here are the straight up facts.
1. It is not yet edited nor sent out yet.
2. I had trouble finding help searching through hundreds of hours of video. Every single scene we want to use has to be labeled (As in : disc #4 , scene starting at 1 hour 4 four minutes and 32 seconds to 1 hour 5 minutes and 36 seconds). Hundreds and hundreds of songs and hundreds and hundreds of well wishes needed to be properly listed like that. Believe me, it is a major pain in the back ! It is very tine consuming and tedious. (Edit: mjb and YankeeRose helped to "time mark" a few discs, but we were overwhelmed with the enormity of the task.)
3. I still have in my possession the hundreds of dollars we collected. It will still be used to produce discs and buy phone cards.
4. Editing would cost around $1,000 based on prices we got from professionals. However...
5. Step up Lisa Fazenbaker (Woo22). Woo has personally taken on the challenge to finish the project. She has watched every single second of video. She has written "time markers" for nearly all of the video she has in her possession so far. She will take on the editing job so we can save the money for discs and phone cards. We will be getting together over Thanksgiving weekend to finalize the editing scenario. Then she will produce the final RFTT discs. We will just need to make copies then.
6. When you see Lisa, shake her hand and pat her on the back ! It's the old story, when you need something, it's the busiest person who finds the time, and steps up to the plate. In case you don't already know, Lisa is going full time to Berkley. Playing some gigs in Boston with school mates. Getting very good grades. And comes home when she can to play with Spirit Lost.
7. I have the video of every band and you will receive your DVDs of your shows.
