Sweet. But you know the conservatives are gonna say FOX, the libs are gonna say CNN...it will just be another pointless argument. Know what I mean?rickster wrote:lol.. actually I dont... well I suppose If I wanted to interpret the thread 2 below.....

I like to switch between SciFi and MSNBC. There's not much difference, except that SciFi has hotter looking chicks and a lot more action scenes.
Edit:
Actually, I get most of my news from CNBC & the internet.
CNN vs. Fox? *They aren't that far apart except that as far as bias, Fox is a little right of center and CNN a little left of center.
As far as I can tell, MSNBC doesn't have any news segments, just continuous Obama commentary. I think they abducted the real Pat Buchanan and replaced him with a willing lookalike. I also suspect that they have one of those Hulu alien guys. What's his name? Olbermann? He can't be human.

I get my news from the General Discussion section on Rockpage.
But in all seriousness, I do learn alot from what you guys talk about, just sometimes wading thru the bullshit to get to the good stuff is monotonous.
Every morning I get up, I first start my coffee then turn on my computer and then I turn my TV to the Weather Channel.
....So my daily news consists of whatever makes the headlines on the WeatherChannel or my MSN homepage.
I'd probably choose Fox over CNN though, cause it's less complex.

all three
I watch MSNBC, Faux and CNN in the morning. After dinner I love The "political Commentary" on both MSNBC and Faux. The fact that these people are on the air just proves my theory that as long as we are divided they (????) can do whatever they want.
See Rob I am almost impartial!
Also I think that rickster just came on the other day so he might take a while to catch up.
I took my whole RP score card and threw it away the other day when Vinny died.
Life is too fucking short!

Yup, and Deutche Welle. No commentary, no editorializing, and nobody there votes in any election here, because they can't!grimmbass wrote:BBC World News. Fair and unbiased and completely based around delivering news, not commentary.

I stick to The History Channel mostly, though I'm moving into my 26th year as a Young & Restless fan (is that embarrassing?).--->JMS

Like Grimmbass and songsmith, I always check BBC online first, before checking on CNN and Fox News. I like to check multiple sources for my news worldwide, including Deutsche Welle, CBC (Canada), ABC (Australian Broadcasting) and, particularly with Middle East issues, Al Jazeera's English service. Checking all these hopefully gives me a good overall world view of what's going on and where everybody stands on news issues.
About the same, but a lot of the History Channel, just getting very old news there.lonewolf wrote:I like to switch between SciFi and MSNBC. There's not much difference, except that SciFi has hotter looking chicks and a lot more action scenes.

The socialist English government even said the BBC was very biased! They were reprimanded about their coverage on the Israeli-Palestinian war, where they never used words like terrorism when Hammas and Hezbollah would toss a rocket at Israel, but called the Israelis terrorists when they would blow up a house of a Hammas leader.grimmbass wrote:BBC World News. Personally, I get my news from the Onion.
www.theonion.com
It's really no different from those who get their news from Jon Stewart and the Daily Show.
