One word....CHICKENFOOT!!!

Post by MOONDOGGY »

Sammy Hagar
Michael Anthony
Chad Smith
Satriani

I couldn't have picked a cooler more eclectic list of members for a band.

Apparently 'Chickenfoot' is only a code name for the band right now. They're working on a name. I don't know when the album is due out, but I'm guessing it will be very tasty and well done.

Anyways, this could be great or just fucking terrible. Hmm Sammy Hagar... okay, just fucking terrible.

IMHO
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

THE Satch needn't use a full name! He could get by with a symbol if he wanted to!!! (like Prince did!)

RHCP. He's Will Farrell's twin brother. I heard one cut so far and it's boring as Hell.

Chadwick "Chad" Smith (born October 25, 1961) is a well known and established drummer and plays for the rock bands Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chickenfoot.

Smith was born to parents Curtis and Joan Smith in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He has two older siblings, Bradley and Pamela. He grew up in Bloomfield Hills, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan and attended Lahser High School and Andover High School (Michigan).

I listened to it and liked it alot. Joe stayed good with the song, and wasn't overbearing. I love Vai and what he did with DLR, but it always seemed like Steve was always cramming little lead fills in between vocal lines to say "hey, look at me!" Joe didn't do that...kept the premise of the song together.

I liked Sammy's vocals alot...textbook Sammy. I don't look for this to last past one album, but it'll be worth a listen in my book.
