R.I.P. - Norm Wisor

Post by bassist_25 »

When I was an undergraduate at Lock Haven, I worked a day gig for the computing department. Norm was my direct supervisor, and he was a kick ass boss. Just a little wile ago, my girlfriend informed me that he died on Wednesday in a motorcycle crash.

The reason I'm posting this on Rockpage is because Norm was also a musician. He played bass for the Dubois based band, Route 66. He was a solid player and an excellent harmony vocalist. One of the coolest days of work was when I came in and he had his vintage Fender Jazz. I spent about an hour and half jamming on that piece of history. That thing had some mojo to it, but I think Norm is what gave it its mojo.

Norm loved his wife and his son, who was going through Lock Haven's physician's assistant program when I graduated. I know he's raising hell up in the big gig in the sky.
