I liked the Doobie Brothers part and the Billy Jean segment was cool.
It's about 3 minutes, check it out.

I thought they were all, neoconservative, liberal, socialist, anti-musicists putting hard working musicians out of work. They all probably work for a large drug company.
Sorry Hawk, it seemed only fitting to hijack this thread to put the mandatory political spin on it before someone else did.
Cool video

I saw a group called Canvas (I think), do an acapella version of The Simpson's theme that was pretty amazing. I'm considering doing something similar via multi-tracking my own voice, but I'd have to learn to sing first. I'm in a very progressive mood lately, and want to deconstruct things and inject influences that aren't supposed to be there in a certain genre... it might get me banned from bluegrass, where that's not really allowed.
My latest BG song is called "The Way I Roll, " and it mentions heavy metal and features a C9 chord, which has probably never been played in a BG song.

you can never go wrong with a C9.songsmith wrote:I saw a group called Canvas (I think), do an acapella version of The Simpson's theme that was pretty amazing. Yeah, C9 or higher chords are very "Western Swing" and I'm sure are considered the "devil's music" in BG circles. Just like tri-tones in classical or sacred music.songsmith wrote:My latest BG song is called "The Way I Roll, " and it mentions heavy metal and features a C9 chord, which has probably never been played in a BG song.--->JMS
