On July 18th my stepdaughter found a box full of kittens abandoned at the end of her dad's driveway in Sinking Valley. We don't believe they were dropped there intentionally for them, just out of pure inhumane reasons.
Inside the box were a mother cat(less than a year old), 2 three month old kittens, and 4 newborns(only 1-2 days old at the time). One of the 3 month old kittens was claimed by my stepdaughter and will be staying with us. The other 3 month old went to the Humane Society, but I believe was adopted that day. They would've put the newborns down if left there. I understand they don't want the commitment of 2 months until the newborns are weened.
I know my fellow RPer's are loyal animal lovers, so if anybody is thinking about getting a cat soon, get a hold of me. The mother is a Maine Coon, the father is unknown.

They should be ready for a new home the beginning of Sept. I just want to know that they go to a good home. In other words:FREE. My boss claimed 2 of the kittens, but he hasn't picked which 2. That means I need to find homes for the mother and 2 kittens (doesn't matter which ones).
Get hold of me on here or call my cell 814-414-6600 in the evening.
Thanks,
Steve
ps If anyone knows somebody who recently moved or visited from Georgia with cats but suddenly doesn't have them, take them out to the middle of nowhere and drop them off. See how they like it. The box had Georgia addresses on it.
Hopefully somebody can help...

I hate people like that, it's not that hard to find a farm that will take them in.
Unfortunately, my family just adopted a new kitten from the neighbor's litter a couple months ago or I would gladly take one. We have 2 cats now & I can't possibly take in anymore.
I will spread the word at the Indiana Walmart where I work, & see what I can do to help them find good homes.

Happiness is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.
