Peter Frampton bought my FX Pedal on ebay

Post by Mysterytrain »

So... Last night I posted a Mutron III (envelope filter) on ebay for $750.00 Buy Now and within 9 minutes Peter Frampton's tour manager (Scooter) called me saying they were having gear problems. I am overnight shipping it to some hotel in Ohio.

I was never really wild about Frampton but it is rather amusing. I knew I should have posted it at $1000.

Funny thing is... I mentioned that we had a band and could open for Peter (jokingly). Scooter said that after 2 hours of Pete they just want to go home and go to bed.
Keep on keepin' on,
Dan

WoW!! That is cool. Frampton Comes Alive was one of the first albums I ever owned. I think I was 10 or 11 when my mom gave it to me. It's cool that you now have (if only a little one) connection to this living legend...Rock On!!!

Yeah a great album! I saw him live when he was on the edge of fame at an armory in York "years" ago. People were getting restless when he was playing the soft stuff..They only wanted to hear "DO YOU FEEL?..one even throwed a bottle at him

Was a good show and i was front and center!

A friend of our guitarist had Gavin Rossdale buy his Bradshaw switching system off of Ebay. The same cat owns a Bogner preamp that is very much well believed to have been owned by Jerry Cantrell.

I bet it gets every sound imaginable except a sound that's original.

(I do like Lenny Kravitz though)

HAHAHA, They probably never even used it to it's true potential.

I was at a Naildriver practice last week. Scot was playing thru that Mesa over a 4 x 12 cab (Marshall I think) and the sound was perfect.

Just wait until Naildriver hits the stage again with its newly tweaked lineup. You are all in for a pleasant surprise.

Yeah. He didn't buy it because that douche owned it, and it was covered with shipping stickers from airlines. So I'm gonna say it's legit.

On a side note: I just got a sweet Dimebag refrigerator/freezer combo.
I'll sell it to ya mad cheap.

No surprise here. ive always thought Naildriver was badass. Btw, if Scott ever wants to get rid of his 5150, tell him to let me know!!!!! I want a 5150 soooo bad.
