I have a neighbor who's friend's child is going through some pretty rough times.
His name is Micheal & he just turned 2 years old. After waking up 3 days in a row, vomiting, his parents took him to the doctor & after a couple visits, they did a CT scan & found a tumor in his brain. They believed it to be benign.
After a couple surgeries, they thought they removed the tumor, but now it appears to have doubled in size & his spinal fluid is gathering in his brain. They now think it's a malignant tumor.
They are still performing surgeries in hopes of getting rid of it completely, they'll know Friday if it's cancerous or not.
We are trying to get a fundraiser together for his family, maybe a spaghetti dinner & going to try & get some local bands to perform as well.
I can't even begin to think what they must be going through. Nothing is worse than your child being sick & there isn't anything you can do for them.
Please keep Micheal & his family in your prayers, they need all the faith they can get.

a sad but true story
As a person who has gone through a similiar thing .. I can sympathaize with this family. My step-daughter had what is known as a medullablastoma which is a tumor of the brain stem. When they removed it .. it was the size of a tennis ball. Sadly, after two years she lost her life. But, when I hear of something like this, it is hard for me not to get emotional. My wife and I sent our hopes and prayers to this family. IF they want to talk or anything, please have them pm me here.
Having talent is one thing....what you do with it is something else
Thanks for all the kind words guys, I have an update, but unfortunately it's not good news.
It is malignant, as we were fearing.
Please continue to keep Micheal & his family in your prayers, they have a long road ahead of them.
