The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

You know, I wish the fanatics would actually READ what their religion's texts of choice say, instead of just going by what some douchebag in power fills their heads with. Islam, to the best of my knowledge, is NOT a war-based religon. It's just these f'd up pricks tend to strip it down and feed the bullshit and lies to their people via political spoon, leaving out the parts of "peace and innocence."
Fact of the matter is, too many people strip away who and what they're supposed to be, and strip the wrong parts away when they do. This happens over here in the good ole USA too. Christians, politicians, Islamic, Wiccan, Buddhist, American, Mexican, Asian, European, African,... It's douchebags like this SoB of this story that gives ANYBODY a bad name! Just get him out of this life!

He is an American citizen, born in the USA. He is Muslim. As a psychiatrist, he probably heard many veterns verbalise hatred for those they fought against, Muslims.
Likely the guy was wacko, felt alienated because of the expressed hatred he was hearing. The trigger was the fact that he was soon to be deployed to the middle east.
Very much like other work place shootings. Alienated socially.
God bless the dead and wounded and their families...

You have absolutely no idea what his "reason" was. Why did you even post this? But when you make up fictitious reasons, that is the same as giving excuses.Hawk wrote:A reason isn't an excuse.undercoverjoe wrote:That sounds like an excuse for his murdering 12 people, and putting 30 others in the hospital.Hawk wrote:he probably heard many veterns verbalise hatred for those they fought against, Muslims.
There are no excuses for those murders, none at all.

Shooting at Fort Hood
It amazes me how the government tells us how safe we have been after 9/11. This just goes to show you that anyone can just walk into this country and start killing people.
Now, I understand he was a major or something like that and a head doctor and American born. My problem is that too many times we let people like this slip through the cracks and then shit like this happens.
As for the Jihad that Islam is mounting against the US, I wonder if Mr. Obama will fight fire with fire? Somehow, I seriously doubt it, but if Ronald Reagan was in there, we would have been out of Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East all together and Iran would not have nuclear weapons. We as a country have become to soft.
Sure, peace would be a wonderful thing but to let bin Laden and some of these other tyrants run around and on the loose is just asking for more problems.

Having talent is one thing....what you do with it is something else
Jeezzz. Are you just in the mood for an argument ?undercoverjoe wrote:You have absolutely no idea what his "reason" was. Why did you even post this? Man finds wife cheating. Man kills wife. That's a reason but not an excuse.
I posted what I thought might be the reason. Are you the one who decides what opinions I can have and post ?
OK, as long as joe is in charge, no one is allowed to speculate ! You have now been warned!
We'll see if I'm right or wrong won't we.

limbaughjoe,
Your guru Rush Limbaugh is the master of fictitious reasons. "Now, let me tell you what (insert he, she, they) is/are really thinking".
"Obama said 'this' ". Upon being corrected he changes it to. "Well, that's what Obama means. Listen, you folks need me here to tell you what they're really saying. Obama..."
sorry for the temporary hijack.

Why did you speculate that our soldiers hate Muslims? Do not put your feelings onto someone else and call it a reason for something that happened. You have no idea what our soldiers told this murderer.Hawk wrote:

That post just bothers me. You act like you know what others are thinking.

Please read what I actually wrote. I speculated, "...he PROBABLY heard the soldiers verbalise their hatred for those they fought..." Who did they fight Joe, the Christians ? The Jews ? Or Muslims ?
I speculated our soldiers hate their enemy. Is that a reasonable deduction Joe? He had to listen to that over and over. Even if they didn't use the name Muslim, he knows who the enemy is.
[I'm not saying all Muslims are our enemy, but the radical segment that wants to eradicate all non Muslims is our enemy.]
And I further speculated that he felt socially alienated because of this. I know enough to know that people who go "postal" often feel alienated for social reasons from the rest of society.
Edit: None of my statements are excuses for the murderer.
Rush does that every day / hour / minute / second he's on the air. Why is it acceptable from him ? He even tells you that before he rants. EXCEPT he preaches like it's fact, not speculation. And his regular listeners believe it as fact.undercoverjoe wrote: You act like you know what others are thinking.
I never heard him say, "You know folks, what he's PROBABLY thinking is..."
Do you and other Rush listeners ignore him when he does that ? Do you call him up and tell to stop it ?
