How are things going as the season winds down? This have been slow for me. I we've got so much standing corn and acorns here I don't think deer are moving much. They don't have to. How are yinz doin'????

I haven't seen the bump in activity like I have previously. Pussy is greater than acorns, but if does don't move as much then busks don't move as much. BTW hunt like everyone else. Stop setting up over bait and salt blocks.........

B, you nailed that one! The hunting shows PISS ME OFF!! I don't call that hunting, it's just enhanced target-shooting.
My uncle Pete got up at 3:30am, put on red plaid Woolrich pants and jacket, grabbed a WWI-era 30-40 Krag and a baloney sandwich, and sat on a stump until he saw something. I don't ever remember him being skunked.

Right on Johnny. I don't hunt anymore, probably cause I'm to F'in lazy but when I did it was hard core. My old man still tries to talk me into going but I can't eat a lot of deer meat because it gives me gout in my big toe and then I can't walk. It's a real bummer. I do indulge in his deer jerky though. It's the best around.
