I've eaten groundhog numerous times. Tastes like rabbit, to me. Kinda gamey, but okay... not my first choice in table-fare, but they're easy enough to hunt: Walk to field with gun of choice. Whistle real loud. When whistle-pig looks up to see who made noise, relieve him of this mortal coil. It's almost that easy, except you sometimes have to be a decent shot.
PETA just doesn't understand how delicious animals are.

I bet not one of those people have the little fat bastards eating up their gardens!!
I actually had one trying to make toothpicks out of my front porch steps once...brave sucker would sit right on my porch to get a good angle.
I took care of the problem......

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

I don't blame you. If a little fat Chinese bastard was eating my garden, I'd be pissed, too. Just remember, this planet belonged to the animals before man came along and have slowly been fucking it up ever since.RFBuck wrote:I bet not one of those people have the little fat bastards eating up their gardens!!

And have you ever seen an animal that looks more guilty as they slink away? Yea I love animals but those things are so destructive and ugly with those big yellow teeth. They can eat a whole garden in one night I think. I think Phil is probably treated pretty damn good. Better than he deserves the little bastard.

Thanks to our neighborhood groundhog, I lost my brussels sprouts crop and part of my broccoli crop from last year's garden. The damned thing was living underneath two sheds, one on my neighbor's property and under my shed. I evicted the groundhog from under my shed, and didn't really see much of it after the damage to my garden was done.
This year, my fences go up early in the garden, so hopefully there will be no repeat episode.
