Obama answers Rockpage right wingers' questions.
Obama answers Rockpage right wingers' questions.
Actually he answers questions at a meeting of the Republican Caucus. Although they ask Obama the same questions that right wing Rockpagers ask.

His answers are to the point. My guess you will NEVER see this Q & A in it's entirety or in context on Fox, so if you are a frequent (or even occasional) political contributor, I dare you to watch all of it.
It is in seven parts on You Tube. Although it was placed on there by an Obama supporter. It is Obama face to face with the Republican caucus.
It is listed as "See Obama dismantle the Republican Caucus". And it is labeled "part 1, part 2 etc.. Like I said, an Obama supporter put it on You Tube, but it is ALL there for you to get all the answers that you won't hear on Fox or Limbaugh.
If you are serious about politics you will watch it. If you are a political troll, you won't.

Yeah, like, this is great. You hardly see this guy at all anymore. He never does daily news conferences or town hall meetings now that the campaign has been over for more than a year.
Really, why doesn't he just SHUT THE FUCK UP and balance the budget or something?
I couldn't find a video yet, but SNL summed it up:
MEYERS - "The Democrats super-majority of 60 seats officially ended Thursday when Brown was sworn in as the new Senator from Massachusetts. Oh man, and JUST when they were getting nowhere. But it was a crazy ride. Let's take a moment to remember the accomplishments of the Democrat's 60 seat super-majority."
{audio} SIMPLY THE BEST...{scratch, end audio, end skit}

The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

Much of it wasn't. Fox cut away several times, when it became apparent that the answers they were getting didn't jive with Fox's agenda. They played the questions, then cut to "analysis" when Obama was pointing out little things like how the job-loss rate slowed after his stimulus plan hit, or how GOP congressmen were cutting ribbons at stimulus-paid projects in their home districts, or when the president pointed out that the right scrapping the suggested bill and writing their own is not "bipartisanship." I know I always have to point out partisan inequities, and it believe me, it gets old for me bigtime, but I'm always going to do it, because it has to be done.--->JMSf.sciarrillo wrote:It was on Fox News. Yeah, so much for "The Teleprompter-In-Chief"-crap. He got an invite to a sure-fire media-circus, they figured he wouldn't go, but he went in and folded up their big-top for them. I wonder if the rightwing media mentions it at all a week or so later... they didn't expect him to call them on their own gridlock, or have answers that weren't written on his hand. It was poorly-rated on TV... too bad, if it had happened on network TV, his approval ratings would improve dramatically. The left and the middle seem to want him to grow a pair, amid all the unanswered criticism and rightwing political theatre.--->JMSRobTheDrummer wrote:Like I always said about Obama, he can talk......

No substance because Obama has no substance. I don't need to know what he said, wait let me guess....he sounded centrist, right? He said he wanted to work with the republicans right? Well actions speak louder than words, and all of his actions so far have been way out in left field. He's just doing this now because they no longer have the ability to shove bullshit bills down our throats....why didn't he do all this after he was elected? Why did they try passing shit so fast, the republicans didn't have time to even read it? But now all the sudden he wants to talk....Hawk wrote:No substance from you Rob. None.RobTheDrummer wrote:Like I always said about Obama, he can talk......
Did you watch it ? Can you comment on what he had to say ?
Sure, they do. 59 is still a majority. Anything over 50 is a majority, it's just that now we have to sit through filibusters. Speaking of filibusters, does anyone else think that if the GOP calls a filibuster (basically a big, long speech about nothing designed to waste time) they should actually have to get up on the Senate floor and actually filibuster? Apparently, one can call for a filibuster, then just not show up to talk, and it just slows the process even more. That's real problem-solving for Americans, right there.RobTheDrummer wrote: He's just doing this now because they no longer have the ability to shove bullshit bills down our throats

Anyway, there's talk of passing the Healthcare bill via a process known as reconciliation. It really could happen, but hey, the Repubs broke out the hardball, and can't complain when they get beaned with it. If the GOP's right, and the Dems know they will suffer massive losses in November, maybe they're poisoning the well the way Bush and Cheney did on their way out.--->JMS

So you think it's a good idea to pass a healthcare bill without any questioning?songsmith wrote:Sure, they do. 59 is still a majority. They had their chance to ask questions, or even (gulp) cooperate. Instead they said,"Screw your plan. Approve ours 100% or we're taking our ball and going home."
Pure theatre. Like I said, the Republicans bet the farm on it, Obama bet the farm on it, and the first one to flinch loses in the primaries. --->JMS

The vote counts tell that tale. The GOP's version of cooperation is "NO." Their healthcare plan is "If it doesn't fill my pocket, you don't deserve it." Expect the same obstruction from the other side, who happens to be in the majority right now. Politics is a two-way street, as well.--->JMSJackANSI wrote:ummm yeah, cooperation is a two way street...
And the socialist democrats version is "If it does not grow government and fill our pockets, because we are government, you don't deserve it."songsmith wrote: The vote counts tell that tale. The Republocrats are wrong.
I'm disappointed in you, not surprised, just disappointed. Don't try and pretend you know what you're talking about if you won't watch his videos as he EXPLAINES the answers to YOUR questions. I knew you are afraid of facts and truth. Finally, something I agree withJackANSI wrote:All everyone in the government seems to be doing is seeing how bad they can f stuff up and still take as much as they can home, be it through pork, bribes, lobby payoffs, etc.
Its pointless to argue about it on rockpage. ALL SIDES ARE WRONG.

Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.
What's pointless is apathy and under educated voters who only know one side of the issue. I don't care how you vote as long as you actually understand what / who you're voting for.Merge wrote:Finally, something I agree withJackANSI wrote:All everyone in the government seems to be doing is seeing how bad they can f stuff up and still take as much as they can home, be it through pork, bribes, lobby payoffs, etc.

You just mentioned about 98% of the Obama voters ...Hawk wrote:What's pointless is apathy and under educated voters who only know one side of the issue.
