Big CONGRATULATIONS go out to Vs. the Earth, who has signed a recording deal with E1 Records. E1 used to be Koch Records, and is distributed by Epic; they're acknowledged as the nation's current biggest indie label.
According to the band, their first recording with E1 should drop in April. Vs. the Earth has just issued a 4-song EP independently, called It's All the Little Things.
Anybody who has followed this band's career since their Altoona beginnings as Nevermore/Nevermoure knows they have been chasing this goal since day one, and they have achieved it. Now their long-term goal of "lunchboxes and action figures" might be in reach.
Again, congrats to Vs. the Earth, and good luck with the new label and career advancement!
When I was in Velosity back around 1999 or so,we played Uriah's Pub a few times and I remember those guys stopping by,they were basically just starting out back then if my memory serves me right. That of course was when they were called Nevermore. Congrats guys and good luck!
