For our band it is without a doubt, Magoo's in Cresson. The element of bikers and a smokey bar just seems right. We never get hassled to play songs from other bands and no one bitches when we go off on 30 minutes of drums and all out wierdness!
Keep on keepin' on,
Dan

Would it be unprofessional or off topic to use this thread to slam a place that just screwed us?

Well, if you want to stay on topic, you could start with your least favorite bar and work your way up!

I've seen lots of complaints by bands getting screwed over the years, make sure your facts are correct and your wording as professional as can be, other bar owners use this site too.
You should probably make another thread though.
Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.

OK, I'll change my tune. After last night, my favorite bar to play in is Burgi's. Nice place, great staff, good beer, great crowd.
