AWESOME!!! I'm so glad they kept going after Portnoy left. They still sound great and Mangini seems like a great addition to their sound.
Secretly I'm also glad that after Portnoy decided to leave for Avenged Sevenfold, who didn't want him, and then tried to get back into DT, they pretty much told him to take a hike. ha ha ha, I'm so vindictive.

This tune is great. Mangini is doing a phenomenal job taking on the massive task of replacing Portnoy. And then he takes it a step further with this impressive work...not to mention he's on tour with DT right now making jaws drop all over the world...incredible!!!!
I've drank enough beer to float a battleship! Go ahead and Rock & Roll all night if you can but don't party every day!

Maybe it's just me, but Portnoy live always seemed to not be able to keep a tempo up.

I'm no drummer, but that would seem very important to me. Hell if all of you drummers out there can do that, he shouldn't have a problem.

Listening to it again, it's kind of reminiscent to their images and words years...which is a good thing in my book.

I didn't know that Dream Theater was signed to Roadrunner now. That's interesting. And Lenny Kravtiz, too. That's doubly interesting.

They've been with Roadrunner... I'd say this is the third album they've put out with them. Black Clouds for sure, and I think Systematic Chaos was too.

Yep, you're correct.
