I have a beater 4 string Peavey Dyna bass. This has the famed Super Ferrite pickups. It originally came with a Kahler tremolo, but that is long gone. The cavity was nicely fitted with a mahogany block and glued into place. This was then covered with the coveted Leo Quan Badass II bridge. The bass has some other battle scars, but nothing serious. Other than the bridge and knobs, the bass is all original. It sounds great and functions properly.
These typically sell for about $250-$350, but since it is bastardized and beat up, I'm looking for $175.
I also have a cheap 15W bass practice amp. An extra $25 will get you this amp. This would be a great starter kit. This is five times the beginner bass you would get at Guitar Center, but at the beginner bass price.
