Question: Sumlin at the Aces

Post by Killjingle »

Was there a local musician who played with Sumlin at the Aces? He wore a beret and had glasses. Was supposedly a smokin guitarist. I am looking into this for a friend of mine.

I love old threads.

This was his guitar player (Billy Hector). I don't recall him being local. I think he was from Jersey.

I talked to a few of the band members who backed Sumlin, and most were from New York. I do remember the drummer was one of the best drummers I had ever seen.
