Up for sale here is a used Carver model PT-1800 power amplifier. The PT-1800 is a 3 rack space amplifier and is the second largest amplifier Carver has made to date. Steel chassis amp has front mounted volume controls, and comes with XLR balanced input jacks as well as barrier strips. Output is via double sets of dual bananna plugs as well as barrier strips. PT-1800 is rated for FTC spec 600 watts per channel @ 8 ohms RMS, 900 watts per channel @ 4 ohms, and 1,200 watts per channel @ 2 ohms. The amp can produce a massive 2,400 watts into a mono bridged load of 4 ohms. Unlike many new amplifiers, the PT-1800 was completely made in the USA, not China.
