Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the June 29 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to Mike Ritchey and Big Dawg of Nevermoure for being our guests on this week's program. While Nevermoure singer Adam Marino and drummer Shawn Hocherl were off in the Big Apple rubbing elbows and setting up show dates, Mike and Dawg informed us of the latest Nevermoure happenings, including their 2nd annual "Rock the Block" party this Saturday, July 5th in Altoona, their success on the Baltimore music scene, their future touring plans and more. We also heard numerous tracks from Nevermoure's new CD, "10 Songs…6 Great…3 Good…1 Decent." In addition, we debuted new songs from Adrian Blitzer, Electric Candy Shop, Sound Driven, and No Complaint.

This week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

THE CLARKS - "Born Too Late"
TANGERINE - "Elastic World"
NEVERMOURE - "The American Teenage Anthem"
ADRIAN BLITZER - "Inside the Mist"
NEVERMOURE - "Psycho"
JUICED - "Seven"
NEVERMOURE - "Untouchable"
ELECTRIC CANDY SHOP - "Symphony on Saturn"
SOUND DRIVEN - "Antelopium"
ROADKILL - "Fifth on the 4th of July"

NO COMPLAINT - "Sick Polygon of Love"
NEVERMOURE - "She Rocks Me"
SLAMMER - "Locked Up" (1988, Local Music Flashback)
NEVERMOURE - "Here I Am Tomorrow"
FELIX & THE HURRICANES - "Black Widow"
NEVERMOURE - "Realize"
HYPER CHYLD - "Innocent the Sky"
NEVERMOURE - "Still Remember You (Higher)"

This Sunday night, July 6, we welcome Electric Candy Shop into the studio. We will meet the band members, get acquainted with their career to date, and hear songs from their brand new CD, "Symphony on Saturn." Catch a rising force on the state's music scene and sample tasty musical goods from Electric Candy Shop on the "Backyard Rocker," this Sunday night!
