Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 26 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

This week, we placed the spotlight on The Marauders (www.themarauderspa.com), who during this very weekend were opening shows in Atlantic City and Long Island for the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Before they departed for those shows, singer/guitarist Ben Dumm and upright bass player Chris Lawson stopped by Q94 and spoke with me about their association with Brian Setzer, and also their newly released self-titled CD, as we played a number of songs from the album (including the one that Brian Setzer wrote for the group, “We Are The Marauders”). We also debuted a new song from Agony Hill, and reviewed the new CD by Sterling Koch, Steelin’ Home, in "The Professor's CD Corner." (The review can be viewed on Q94's website, www.wbxq.com.)

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

MIDNIGHT RODEO – “.44 Caliber Love”
MARTINI BROS. – “Santa Claus Is Back In Town”
THE MARAUDERS – “We Are The Marauders”
THE BOOKHOUSE BOYS – “Beach Blanket Bloodbath”
THE MARAUDERS – “Rumble On The Rocks”
RUSTY GUN REVIVAL – “Revival”
THE MARAUDERS – “Johnny Don’t Like It (When You Call Him Elvis)”
AGONY HILL – “Spent”

HOUR TWO:

THE NIGHTCRAWLERS – “Desert Sun”
THE MARAUDERS – “Lookin’ Forward to Leavin’ You Behind”
STERLING KOCH – “Keep Your Lamps”
THE MARAUDERS – “Nothing to Prove”
RIK GOLDEN – “Jonny Leather Jacket”
THE MARAUDERS – “Hell On High Heels”
THE MARAUDERS – “Rhythm Fix”

Next Sunday night, John Charney returns to the program. John has completed a new solo album, Be Water; we’ll hear tracks from the CD and get John’s thoughts on his new tunes! We'll also check on Local Music News, and review another new local CD in "The Professor's CD Corner!" John Charney is our guest in the studio on the "Backyard Rocker," next Sunday night!
