Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the February 11 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
Thanks to our guests this week, Bill Ferrell and his Kyx bandmates, Glenn Walstrom, Bill Moyer and Chris Sherkel, for a fun and entertaining two hours (www.bikersprayer.com, www.just4kyx.com). We learned about Bill and his musical career to date, and heard several songs from Bill’s first solo CD, Biker’s Prayer. In addition, Kyx has just released their first CD, The Verge of Satisfaction, and we heard two songs from it as well. We also debuted new songs from the Dave Holt Band, Kun-Tajus, The Clarks and Gunnar Wray. And we reviewed Angel Blue and the Prophets’ debut CD, Bottom of the Bottle Blues, in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be viewed in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)

The "Backyard Rocker" is happy to announce its continued partnership with "The Underground TV," the local/regional music television show airing on WATM ABC 23 Friday and Saturday mornings at 1 AM, and WWPC Fox 8 Sunday and Monday mornings at 1 AM. Check out "The Underground" as it features different unsigned local and regional bands every week; and watch for "Backyard Rocker" updates on the show each week as well!
