Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the December 22 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
This week was the annual “Backyard Rocker” Christmas Special, featuring two hours of holiday music from area and regional bands and artists. This year’s Special ran the gamut from rock to blues to jazz to ballads, instrumentals and more. And we premiered new holiday tracks on this year’s Special from Ron Jarrett, Tony Perry, Kiwi, Roadkill and Busted Monkey. And we thank our guests, John Cimino and Michael Hughes, for the cookies, eggnog and insight on the new holiday album “Lords-a-Leaping,” a collection of original holiday music and favorites performed by John, Michael, Jennifer and Adam Bell, and Brett Albert. We heard several tracks from the album, and several lucky listeners will get to enjoy “Lords-a-Leaping” as part of special CD prize packs were giving away on the program. A busy show filled with holiday cheer!
