Here is the recap of the October 28 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBXQ 94.3. The show is brought to you by The Altoona Curve (www.altoonacurve.com), “Everybody’s Hometown Team!”
It was our annual Halloween Special! We featured area bands and songs whose names and titles shared a Halloween theme. And we welcomed a band with a Halloween-ish name into the studio, Williamsport-based hard rockers White Witch (www.whitewitchrocks.com)! We got reacquainted with the band members, and heard tracks from White Witch’s brand new CD, Never Dies the Dream. We also reviewed the new album by Pittsburgh’s Icarus Witch, Songs for the Lost, in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be read in the “Backyard Rocker” section of the message board area on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)
