Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 30 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to our guests, Middletown singer/songwriter/guitarist/pianist Sherri Mullen and her bassist, Doug Stockton, for a fun and enjoyable two hours! We learned about Sherri and her career to date, as well as her future goals for herself and her music. We heard various songs from Sherri's multi-flavored debut CD from last year, “Mask,” and several lucky listeners won copies of the album. Sherri and Doug also performed two songs live on the air. Along the way, we also debuted new songs from Suture Seven and Paddywak.

This week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

FELIX & THE HURRICANES - “Backyard Rocker”
FAT VINNY & THE WISEGUYS - “Like A Mule”
SHERRI MULLEN - “Home of the Free”
SOUND DRIVEN - “Mephistopheles”
SHERRI MULLEN - “Cinderella”
SPINEBELT - “Losing All”
SHERRI MULLEN - “Mask” (performed live in studio)
SUTURE SEVEN - “Apparatus of Demise”

HOUR TWO:

TONY HARLAN - “Jingle This”
HALESTORM - “Not Enough”
SHERRI MULLEN - “I Saw Her Face”
SILVER SUNDAY - “Naked”
SHERRI MULLEN - “Broken”
PADDYWAK - “Haven”
SHERRI MULLEN - “Still Have You” (performed live in studio)
SHERRI MULLEN - “Fire”

This coming Sunday, Dec. 7, our guests in the studio will be Hershey-based hard rockers Balistic. Since their last visit, Balistic has added a new singer, former Spellbound vocalist Mark McNelley; and they have released a new EP called “Transference.” Hear songs from “Transference,” plus listen to win a copy! Listen as Balistic visits the “Backyard Rocker,” this Sunday night!

Other forthcoming guests and specials include:

DEC. 21 - Christmas Special
DEC. 28 – Year In Review Special
JAN. 4 – V.I.H.

Send your holiday recordings to the “Backyard Rocker” at the address below, and we will gladly consider your music for inclusion on the special!
