Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the January 18 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.
Thanks to our guests this week, Altoona-based acoustic duo Rock'n'Rye, for a fun and frivolous two hours. Former Toddo/Stone Alley members Greg Burley and Ryan Clark discussed this latest acoustic venture, and performed several songs from their set list live on the program. The group also introduced a new original song, “With You.” We also dug into the vault for music from their previous bands, Toddo and Stone Alley. This was a fun show, with lighthearted discussion about Rock'n'Rye, the climate for acoustic music locally, memories from their previous bands, and more. Also along the way, we debuted new music from Spitshine, Negative Space, Felix & the Hurricanes w/Dan Myers II, Wiskerbisket and Mike Swavely & the Chrome Magnatones.
